Our premium Live Edge One-Piece Solid Parota Tabletops are natural masterpieces, each with its own distinctive character and story. Whether your home leans toward modern, rustic, or traditional decor, a one-of-a-kind Parota table will bring warmth, charm, and timeless beauty to your space. Crafted from one of the most durable and sustainable hardwoods, these tables showcase Parota's stunning wavy patterns and striking wood grain, making each piece truly unique.
Made from a single slab of solid wood, each table maintains its natural form, with variations in shape and design that highlight its organic beauty. No two Parota tables are the same, ensuring that you own a piece of nature that is as unique as your home.
Key Features:
Solid Parota Wood: Each slab is cut from a single piece of solid Parota wood, showcasing the natural beauty of the grain, knots, and unique markings.
Live Edge or Straight Cut Options: Choose between the organic flow of live edge or the clean lines of a straight cut tabletop.
Kiln-Dried & Handcrafted: Each table is expertly crafted and kiln-dried to ensure stability and durability.
Natural Character: The wood features distinctive crevices, grooves, knots, and natural imperfections, adding to its charm and character. Expect subtle cracks and fissures, a natural result of the wood’s organic process that will continue to develop with age.
Rustic Satin Finish: Finished with a satin lacquer to preserve the wood's natural texture and protect its surface.
Various Sizes Available:
Choose from 5 to 13-foot lengths, with thicknesses of 5 to 9 cm (2"-3.5") and weights between 150 to 550 lbs, depending on size.
Please Note:
Due to the natural curves and variations of Parota wood, dimensions, thickness, and shape may slightly vary. These unique imperfections make each table one-of-a-kind, and contribute to its beauty and authenticity.

Furniture Care Instructions
Natural Cracks vs. Unnatural Cracks
Small surface cracks, long thin cracks, and movement around knots are natural characteristics of solid wood, developing over time as the wood adjusts to its environment. These are not imperfections, but rather part of what makes your piece unique. Please note: tables with natural cracks cannot be returned outside of our 14-day return policy.
Preventing Natural Cracks
To help minimize cracks, apply wood-specific mineral oil every 3 months. This helps maintain the wood's moisture content, which can reduce the likelihood of cracking. However, this is not a complete solution, and moisture balance must be monitored.
General Care Tips
- Dust regularly with a microfiber cloth to prevent dust buildup, which can lead to scratches. Avoid dry dusting, as this can scratch the wood surface.
- Clean using a soft cloth with a mild soap solution or wood oil. Always blot spills immediately with an absorbent cloth to prevent liquid from penetrating the wood.
- Oil your table with mineral oil (our recommended scratch remover is a great option) every few months, or more frequently during drier winter months, to help maintain moisture levels in the wood and prevent cracking.
Avoid High-Heat Areas
Extreme temperatures can be very damaging to natural wood. Do not place your table near radiators, heaters, or in direct sunlight. Wood exposed to high heat can dry out, warp, and crack. Rapid changes in temperature can cause the wood to expand and contract, which may lead to splitting or warping. If your table is near a window, consider using curtains or blinds to reduce direct sunlight exposure, or relocate the table to a more stable, temperature-controlled area.
Moisture Damage
Wood is highly sensitive to moisture fluctuations, and exposure to excess moisture or dry conditions can lead to permanent damage:
- Too Much Moisture: If the wood absorbs too much moisture from spills or high humidity, it can swell, warp, or even develop mold. Always wipe up spills immediately with a dry, absorbent cloth to prevent water damage. Avoid placing items like vases or cups directly on the wood without a coaster.
- Too Little Moisture: If the air in your home is too dry, especially in winter, the wood may lose its moisture content, leading to cracking. To help prevent this, apply mineral oil every few months and consider using a humidifier in your home to keep humidity levels consistent.
Humidity Levels
To maintain the wood’s integrity, try to keep your room’s humidity between 40-45%. Lower humidity levels can cause the wood to dry out and crack, while higher humidity can cause it to swell and warp. A consistent humidity level is key to ensuring the longevity of your natural wood furniture.
